This privacy policy applies to the Movela+ app for mobile devices created by Movela+ Developer as a Free service. This service is intended for use AS IS.

The Application may process app usage information needed to provide core features, including title searches, locally saved collections, reminders, watch log entries, and optional AI Chat. The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.

Movie and TV metadata is requested from TMDB, and sports, quiz, and achievement content is requested from the Movela API service. These requests are anonymous and do not require a user account.

The Application includes Branch and Facebook SDKs for attribution and basic app event measurement. These services may process technical identifiers, campaign or link attribution data, app launch/open events, and device-level information permitted by iOS settings. Facebook is used as a secondary event processor.

If iOS asks for tracking permission, you can allow or deny it in the system prompt and later change that choice in iOS Settings. Denying tracking does not block the core movie, TV, sports, collection, watch log, reminder, or AI Chat features.

The Application includes an optional AI Chat for movie and TV show recommendations. Before the first AI Chat request, the Application asks for explicit consent. If you agree, the Application sends the text of each message you enter, a session identifier (chat_id) created when the chat starts, and the fixed system_prompt used to keep the chat focused on movies and TV shows.

This data is processed by a third-party AI service hosted through Railway at freeopenrouterchat-production.up.railway.app. The service processes the text only to generate replies for the AI Chat feature. Do not send personal information, credentials, or private data in AI Chat.

You can withdraw AI chat data sharing in the Application Settings. When disabled, the Application resets the local chat_id and blocks new AI Chat messages until you agree again.

The Service Provider may disclose information as required by law, when disclosure is necessary to protect rights or safety, or with trusted service providers who work on their behalf and follow this policy.

You can stop all collection of information by uninstalling the Application. You can turn off tracking permission in iOS Settings and turn off AI chat data sharing in the Application Settings.

Local collections, reminders, watch log entries, ratings, notes, and AI chat consent are stored on your device. If you would like to request deletion of data provided through the Application, contact movela@gmail.com.

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information and uses reasonable safeguards for information processed and maintained.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. You are advised to consult this page regularly for any changes.

This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-05-15.

By using the Application, you consent to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy. AI Chat requires separate explicit consent before any AI Chat network request is made.
